What a time to be alive! 🥹 I feel super hopeful for the positive impact AI can have, and I can’t emphasize enough how important our embodiment of hope is at this time. So many people are in fear, and if we embody fear and hold visions of a dystopian future, we are going to create that. If we embody hope, and hold a vision for all that is possible, we will align our actions and find solutions that create that. Your embodiment and our collective embodiment matters more than most people realize. Keep the faith. ❤️

Social media usage has been in a decline for the l

Social media usage has been in a decline for the last two years, which research shows will accelerate. The latest study by Gartner shows 50% of people will abandon or significantly limit their interactions with social media by the end of 2025.

Social media has been a major part of what’s known as “Web 2.” Before that, we had “Web 1,” which is the era I started my online business in with a blog!

🤔 So what comes next?

The Web 3 era, and the next evolution of the internet towards:

👉🏼 Decentralized community over audience and influencers: Web 3 fosters genuine, equal-stake communities, not just masses of followers with a “community” built around an influencer. As we shift out of the social media era, remember that the relationships you’ve built on social media are still so important!   Back in the Web 1 days, when blogging was the big thing, I built real relationships that I took into the Web 2 era and social media. 
👉🏼 Direct engagement: We will be moving away from the “middlemen.” Think big tech platforms, payment systems that all of our transactions run through, etc. You will interact directly with the people you want to be connected to or do business with. 
👉🏼 Innovation potential: NFTs, tokenized memberships, decentralized marketplaces... Web 3 opens a vast new landscape for us! So much to explore! 
✌🏼Here are two big ways to start future-proofing your business: 
1️⃣ Educate yourself: Learn more about AI and Web 3 principles like decentralization, blockchain, and tokenization.

2️⃣ Prioritize genuine connection: Focus on fostering true community, not just chasing vanity metrics.

3️⃣ Embrace the evolution! The social media era isn’t over yet, but the future belongs to businesses that embrace Web 3 values – decentralization, freedom, community, and transparency. My work is rooted in embodiment so I also believe that embodying these values now will help you in this transition.
